Cercie was taken to the Stark County Dog Warden when she was just a 7 month old puppy. She was transferred to a local rescue where she watched all of the dogs around her come and go. She spent 4 years in a shelter and somehow never found the right home. Cercie was never properly socialized when she was young and developed behavioral issues while she was living in the shelter. Our rescue began to help by training her to be around other dogs and learn the skills she was never taught as a puppy. She has come so far!
She is now in a foster home and being a real dog for the first time in 4 1/2 years. She is great with other dogs and cats. She is still unsure of small children and should be placed in a home without them. She is housebroken, crate trained and leash trained. She loves chew toys and bones and is very food motivated!
